otter mother and cub

Nikon Z9, 600mm F4 TC @ 840mm 1/1600th Sec, 560 ISO

Image taken on the Isle of Mull in Scotland during a 2 day workshop with Pete Walkden Photography. We had been following these 2 for a little while; hunkered down in amongst the rocks and kelp so as to be well hidden they were completely unaware of my presence. I grabbed this lovely shot of the pair after they returned to the shore for a preen and sleep after catching multiple different things to eat. You can read my full trip report HERE.
