Hamnoy, The Lofoten Islands

The beautiful little village of Hamnoy in the Lofoten Islands.  This has become quite an iconic shot now since the area has grown in popularity.  What the image doesn’t show is that it was actually taken stood on the side of a narrow bridge and at the time both my camera and I were sprayed by fishy sludge by a passing lorry loaded with fish destined for the drying racks some of which you can see in the picture.
