Autumn in Buttermere

Its been a bit of a family tradition to spend a week in Buttermere at the beginning of autumn each year.  The colour and light can be superb along with some amazing walks which is another hobby of mine.  If often found it hard to capture the beauty of The Lake District but this particular image shows how wonderfully green it is at this time of year and some of the vivid colour you get in the trees as autumn takes hold.
